Color sand is a kind of inorganic pigment, mainly made of raw materials such as silicate minerals, metal oxides and metal salts. The color of color sand is determined by its chemical composition and preparation process. Color masterbatch is a kind of organic pigment, mainly made of organic compounds, it has a high degree of color, good transparency and gloss, and can be modulated to a wide range of colors. Color masterbatch usually exists in the form of slurry, which needs to add solvents or additives in printing ink in order to use.
Color sand and color masterbatch have some similarities in use and performance:
1. color stability: color sand has better color stability than color masterbatch, which is susceptible to fading by light, heat, chemicals and other factors.
2. color mixing ability: color masterbatch has better color mixing ability than color sand, because it can modulate more colors and shades.

We offer free samples under 150 grams. You need to pay if you require more.
5. How long is delivery time?
It depends on the ordered quantity. Small or medium orders usually takes less than a week. Please check the production agenda with the sales department after order.
